Job description
You will join an interdisciplinary business analytics team focused on transforming financial and regulatory reporting processes using XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language). This role offers the opportunity to shape our product and service portfolio, contributing to the development of IT solutions as well as consulting and advisory services for clients such as financial regulators, Big4 firms, and software vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to analyze and interpret XBRL specifications
Translate regulatory and business requirements into software requirements
Support software engineers in understanding financial and supervisory reporting domains
Contribute to R&D of new products and services
Create and maintain documentation (BRDs, functional/non-functional specs, use cases)
Perform software testing and root cause analysis
Software testing and root-cause analysis of issues
Present solutions and products to clients
Deliver training sessions and provide professional consulting
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git
Strong knowledge of XML, XSD, and related technologies
Understanding of software development methodologies
Advanced English (C1) – written and spoken
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel (regional and international)
Nice to have
Experience with XBRL technologies
Knowledge of regulatory or capital markets reporting
Programming skills (Java or .NET preferred)
Understanding of databases
