We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join the General Accounting Operations (AO) team in Gdansk, Poland. AO supports global accounting processes, drives standardization and efficiency, and enables future growth across Thomson Reuters.
In this role, you will manage end‑to‑end bank reconciliation activities, including performing monthly reconciliations in BlackLine, ensuring accuracy and timely completion, and resolving reconciling items such as unidentified receipts, payment exceptions, bank fees, and timing differences. You will work closely with Treasury, AP, AR, Payroll, and the Intercompany Team to clear open items and maintain healthy aging.
You will prepare and post journal entries in SAP when needed, support month‑end close (cash validation, clearing account tie‑outs), and ensure all reconciliations meet internal control and audit requirements. The role also includes maintaining SOPs, training junior team members, identifying root causes of recurring issues, and recommending improvements to processes, master data, BlackLine rules, or SAP logic. You will provide basic KPI reporting, including on‑time completion, aged items, and exception trends.
