We are looking for experienced Platform Architects to shape, govern, and evolve Nordea’s strategic technology platforms. The role is central to ensuring that the platforms are secure, compliant, resilient, and aligned with Nordea’s target architecture and regulatory requirements. As Platform Architect, you will own the end to end architectural vision of the platform, bridging business strategy, security, and engineering execution. You will work closely with enterprise architects, security architects, cloud teams, and delivery organizations to ensure the platform can be safely scaled and reused across Nordea.

About Our Team

Meet the technical Security Architecture team. Our role is to shape Nordea’s strategic technology platforms and strategy. We work in a collaborative environment with cutting-edge technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Architectural Leadership:
• Define and maintain the high-level architecture vision for our core platforms across all our hosting solutions: Cloud, AI, Data Centre implementing industry leading hypervisors, APIs, portals, container platforms and public cloud enablers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Align all designs with Nordea’s target architecture, strategy and governance processes.
• Compliance & Governance:
• Ensure Nordea’s strategic technology platforms adhere to Nordea IT Security Guidelines, Resilience Framework, and segregation of duties.
• Validate our core setup against Nordea standards for identity management, audit logging, penetration testing, and cloud exit strategies.
• Transformation Enablement:
• Collaborate with other and Nordea architects to define the long-term vision for our platforms and remediate technical and compliance gaps.
• Technical Oversight:
• Oversee secure integrations (Connectivity patterns, IAM, SIEM).
• Manage identity lifecycle and service account provisioning within Nordea’s strategic technology platforms.
• Documentation & Standards:
• Produce and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
• Document compliance status and justify exceptions per Nordea architecture governance.
