Java Developer (Lido)

We are looking for a qualified Java Developer to join our project Lido Flight, part of our core product portfolio within the Lufthansa Group.

You will support the development of In-Flight Optimization (IFO) — a strategic module responsible for real-time re-optimization of flight plans during flight.

Your responsibilities:

• Implementing advanced algorithms in the aeronautical domain
• Ensuring high quality, secure and scalable technical solutions
• Collaborating with the development team on design and deployment
• Applying DevOps principles in daily work

Your profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer
• Strong knowledge of Java 11+, Spring Framework (Boot, Core, Data, Security, Web)
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Experience with Linux and scripting
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with REST APIs and JMS messaging
• Unit testing experience (JUnit, Mockito)
• Understanding of design patterns and clean code practices
• Availability to work from the Gdańsk office at least twice a week
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Very good English skills (B2/C1)
