Senior Python Developer

Salary: 1000-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk or Warszawa (at least 2 days per week from the office, increasing to 3 days from Q3 2026)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on developing modern credit solutions within a large Nordic banking group. The role combines strong engineering work with analytical tasks, including working with external financial data sources and supporting decision-making processes. You will also explore and apply AI-assisted development tools to improve team productivity and software quality.

Responsibilities You'll Have

• Developing and maintaining Python-based automation tools supporting credit decision processes
• Supporting analytical work on external financial and macroeconomic data (e.g. IMF, World Bank, EU, S&P)
• Exploring and applying AI tools to improve development efficiency (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT)
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensuring high code quality and engineering standards within the team
• Supporting Scrum processes and maintaining Jira workflows when needed
• Driving continuous improvement of development practices
  
  

Expected competences and knowledge

• At least 5+ years of experience in Python development
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with complex domains
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Practical knowledge of Jira and backlog management
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Experience in data analysis, AI/ML, or financial systems will be an advantage
