The opportunity
Professionals with expertise and prior work experience in Financial Services. Business analysts facilitate constant business process improvement by regular investigation, analysis, review and documentation specific areas of a business in terms of its functions and processes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators and customer representatives as needed.
- Complete assigned tasks on time and provide regular status reports to the lead and manager.
- Be ready to travel to customer locations as required.
- Build a quality work culture and manage performance for direct reports.
- Foster teamwork and lead by example.
- Train and mentor project resources.
- Participate in organization-wide people initiatives.
- Designing new functionalities and solutions.
- Optimizing existing processes and system components.
- Creating prototypes and proof-of-concept for new/improved modules.
- Researching technological possibilities and analyzing trends.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle crises and guide the team effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze and identify root causes of issues during testing phases.
- Experience in effort estimation, pre-sales support, engagement assessments, and project planning.
- Experience as a Business Analyst in at least one end-to-end implementation of application/system changes.
- Experience in Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, Transfer Agency, Global Custody, and Middle Office.
- Familiarity with financial instruments (equities, bonds, FX, etc.) and the trade lifecycle for all instrument types.
- Experience with solutions such as pControl, Geneva, Investran, Calypso, Tradeflow, Markit, Multifonds, and Transfer Agency applications.
- Strong documentation skills (BRD, TSD, FSD).
- Ability to run client workshops, gather requirements, and formalize MRD documents.
- Experience acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) during SIT and UAT phases.
- Ability to debug and identify root causes for product issues and liaise with the product team for fixes.
- Capability to identify and formulate data migration strategies.
- Client management experience, particularly in stakeholder management.
- Experience in conducting training for clients and internal staff.
- Knowledge of emerging demands in customer centricity and the ability to develop solutions accordingly.
- Professionals with expertise and prior work experience in Financial Services.
- Individuals who can facilitate constant business process improvement through investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of business functions and processes.
