Connectivity – Carrier Management Business Analyst
Location: Cracow, Poland (Hybrid - 3 days pw)
Global Financial Services Institution
A leading global investment bank is seeking a Business Analyst to join its international technology organisation. This role plays a pivotal part in managing telecom carriers, ensuring service excellence, and supporting the bank’s global connectivity footprint.
You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, finance, procurement, and senior leaders to ensure that the bank receives optimal service, accurate billing, and robust carrier governance across its global network estate.
Key Responsibilities
Carrier Management & Operational Support
- Build and maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date carrier inventory across circuits and telecom services.
- Partner with suppliers to ensure inventory reconciliation, billing accuracy, and service alignment.
- Ensure all commercial and operational data is correct and compliant with internal standards.
Governance, Processes & Compliance
- Define governance processes for service performance, contract management, and third‑party oversight.
- Evidence and enforce compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership with clear visibility of carrier KPIs and performance metrics.
Commercial & Vendor Engagement
- Work with finance and procurement teams to secure favourable commercial terms.
- Build strong relationships with external carriers and service providers.
- Participate in contract discussions, renewals, RFPs, and market evaluations.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the liaison between carriers and internal technology teams.
- Communicate technical topics clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with telecoms infrastructure, carrier services, and circuits in large enterprises.
- Background in managing or supporting complex IT/network environments, ideally in regulated sectors.
- Strong vendor and third‑party management capability.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and commercial negotiation skills.
- Ability to adapt, collaborate, and work effectively across global teams.
- Financial services experience preferred but not essential.
