Our team designs, develops, and manages applications and infrastructure that support Akamai's Compute products and services. We do this while maintaining Akamai's mission at the forefront of what we do. Make life better for billions of people, billions of times a day.
As a participant in our program, you will gain valuable experience and contribute through meaningful project work. You will have the opportunity to join us for training, networking events, and engagements with company leadership. Our internships are open to students and graduates.
Start: July 1st
Duration: 6 months
Salary: 45 PLN gross/h

Our 6-month intern program starts in July. The program requires you to be available 40 hours per week during summer months (July-September). We offer the opportunity to work part-time during the academic year (October-December).

As a Contingent Worker Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Expanding the functionality of internal automation tools written in Bash and Python,
- Handling system configuration automation using SaltStack,
- Handling CI/CD mechanisms
- Reacting to and investigating incidents and external support requests
- Creating and expanding Terraform projects
- Setting up monitoring and creating Grafana dashboards
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a current student in Computer Science or a related field
- Have expertise in Linux system internals
- Have good command of Bash and Python for automation, diagnostics and tool development
- Possess experience with SaltStack (or other configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
- Demonstrate solid grasp of networking fundamentals
- Be familiar with observability/monitoring ecosystems such as Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Exhibit knowledge of Git and version control workflows
