Full Stack Engineer

Job Title:Full Stack Engineer (Java + React)

Location: Kraków, Poland (2 days office / 3 days remote)

Experience: 5–10 years

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern applications and services. This role involves working across both backend and frontend technologies, contributing to system modernization, and improving efficiency through automation and microservices.

Key Responsibilities

Build and support backend and frontend applications using Java (11/17/21) and ReactJS

Develop and maintain microservices and APIs

Modernize legacy systems by migrating from mainframe and IBM WebSphere to scalable microservices architectures

Improve system efficiency by increasing Straight-Through-Processing (STP)

Reduce testing costs through automation frameworks

Contribute to overall system design, scalability, and performance improvements

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Java 11+ (Java 17+ preferred)

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

Proficiency in Git

Strong command of Unix/Linux systems and CLI

Experience with databases and SQL (Oracle preferred)

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

Nice to Have

Experience with JavaScript and React

Exposure to DevOps environments

Knowledge of application monitoring tools

Familiarity with Spring / Spring Boot
