About the role
As IT&D Digital Workplace Manager at Vestacy, you will own the end-to-end service and product lifecycle and be the single accountable owner for roadmap, standards, change approval, service experience (XLAs), vendor/MSP performance, and value realization.
The ideal candidate holds a good knowledge of Workplace technology such as Windows, Endpoint Management, M365, Meeting Room Technology, Enterprise Mobility solutions, End User Computing, End User Hardware and have proven experience in project and service management in the outsourced IT environment.
Your responsibilities
1. Strategy & Roadmap
Define and maintain the Digital Workplace strategy and roadmap covering modern management, Zero Trust endpoints, M365/Copilot adoption, and the full device lifecycle. Keep a prioritized backlog balancing user experience, risk, and compliance. Lead lifecycle management of OS versions, hardware models, endpoint tools, and security baselines. Continuously assess current technologies, vendors, and processes, providing improvement recommendations.
2. Architecture & Standards
Own and govern reference architectures for endpoints, MDM/UEM platforms, identity (Entra ID), M365 services, and security baselines. Review and approve major changes to configurations, policies, packaging, and compliance standards. Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity, Legal, and Privacy to ensure designs meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
3. Service Ownership & Reliability
Ensure overall health, availability, and performance of Digital Workplace services, including meeting KPIs, SLAs, and XLAs. Oversee quality of support and operations delivered by outsourced MSPs. Drive high-quality incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and readiness for disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Maintain operational documentation such as support tiers, knowledge bases, and runbooks.
4. Change, Release & Experience Management
Represent Digital Workplace in CAB and govern changes and release processes for endpoints and M365. Define release rings, UAT processes, A/B testing approaches, and rollback strategies. Lead user readiness, adoption planning, and communication for new features, policies, and experience changes.
5. Financial & Commercial Management
Own total cost of ownership for devices, licenses, services, and MSP operations; support budgeting and forecasting. Optimize subscription and licensing spend within the Enterprise Agreement. Track and analyze unit economics, including cost per device/user, refresh cycle ROI, and collaboration value metrics.
6. Vendor & MSP Management
Act as the technical authority over MSP delivery, ensuring continuous service improvement. Conduct service reviews, validate RCAs and remediation actions, and track ongoing CSI initiatives. Manage OEMs and ISVs related to device hardware, peripherals, and meeting room technologies.
7. Stakeholder & Change Engagement
Engage cross-functional partners—including HR, Facilities, Security, and business units—on experience, policy, and change impacts. Own communications for releases, experience updates, and governance changes. Ensure global standards are applied consistently while managing local exceptions through a structured approval process.
The experience we're looking for:
Academic Background (Preferred / Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Continuous Education / Certifications (Preferred)
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, M365 Administrator, MS Teams Administrator, ITIL 4, SAFe, PMP, or Prince2 are considered an advantage.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience with Digital Workplace technologies.
- 5+ years of experience in building, leading, and governing remote and outsourced IT services.
- 3+ years of experience in IT project or product management within a multicultural organization. Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or SAFe are a plus.
Language Requirements
Fluent English.
Required Knowledge
Strong understanding of the ITIL 4 Framework and modern IT operations.
Technical Skills
Competence across key Digital Workplace and IT operations domains, including:
Digital Workplace solutions, IT Service Management, IT Product & Project Management, Windows, O365/M365, Meeting Room Technology, Enterprise Mobility and Endpoint Management (including Autopilot), Azure, SAFe, PMP, Prince2, ServiceNow, and ITIL 4.
The skills for success
A strong understanding of key Digital Workplace technologies, including Windows, Autopilot, Endpoint Management, M365, collaboration platforms, meeting room technologies, and enterprise mobility solutions. Certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, M365 Administrator, or MS Teams Administrator are an advantage.
Over 5 years of experience building, leading, and governing remote and outsourced IT services.
Over 3 years of experience in IT project or product management within multicultural organizations. Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or SAFe are considered a plus.
Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms, with the ability to apply the ITIL framework to Digital Workplace operations. Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL 4 certification is an advantage.
