The Role: What You'll Actually Do Every Day

You'll be our founding senior engineer — the technical leader of a small, fast team building AI-powered call center analytics from the ground up.

You'll use Claude Code CLI as your primary development tool, running parallel sessions while maintaining production-quality standards. This isn't "use AI sometimes." This is AI-first development where you orchestrate multiple coding agents and own the output.

What you'll build:

→ LLM-powered call transcript processing (search, summarization, QA scoring)

→ Multi-tenant Python backend (FastAPI, async, RBAC, audit logs)

→ AI agent workflows that handle real production data at scale

→ CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment infrastructure

→ Customer-facing features end-to-end — from AI pipeline to API to UI

You'll also mentor and lead two junior developers who need senior guidance.

Tech stack:

→ Python (primary) — FastAPI, async, production backend systems

→ Claude API / Anthropic SDK — the core of our AI features

→ TypeScript / Next.js — frontend when needed

→ PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker

→ Claude Code CLI — this is the job

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Experience & Skills:

→ 5+ years professional development experience

→ Real production experience shipping LLM-powered features (Claude API, OpenAI, LangChain — any of these count)

→ Strong Python backend skills (FastAPI or Django, async, multi-tenancy)

→ Comfortable with agentic coding tools — Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, or similar

→ Git mastery: rebasing, worktrees, clean history — not just commit and push

→ Excellent written English — we're async-first, communication is everything

Strong Pluses:

→ Deep Claude Code CLI proficiency (CLAUDE.md, Skills, plan mode, multi-agent workflows)

→ React / Next.js production experience

→ Experience with voice AI (Vapi, LiveKit)

→ Call center or contact center domain knowledge

Work Setup:

→ High-end computer — your machine needs to handle multiple Claude Code instances and Docker without breaking a sweat

→ Reliable, fast internet — you're pushing code and running cloud deploys all day

→ Full-time commitment — this is a high-output founding role, not a side gig

→ Available during EST business hours (8 AM – 6 PM EST) — this is non-negotiable. Our team, our clients, and our workflow run on EST.
