Backend Engineer (C#/SQL)

We are looking for a Mid/Senior SQL and C# Developer to join the RACr / Lambda Market Data team. This role supports critical market data infrastructure used for FX country rollout and environment generation across the FI/Magnus ecosystem. The position plays an important role in maintaining and extending data aggregation systems and supporting production environments within a federated architecture.

The successful candidate will work closely with distributed teams and contribute to both development and operational activities, ensuring reliability and scalability of market data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL-based solutions supporting market data aggregation and processing

• Contribute to C# development within the RACr/Lambda platform

• Support FX country rollout by enabling market data environment generation

• Participate in release coordination and deployment activities across the FI platform

• Provide operational support as part of the team’s support rotation

• Investigate and resolve incidents affecting market data systems

• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to ensure smooth system integration and delivery

• Help reduce single-point-of-failure risks by strengthening C# knowledge within the team

Work Breakdown (Approximate)

• SQL development and BAU database work: ~50%

• C# development and enhancements: ~20%

• Release coordination, support rotation, FX rollout support: ~30%

Required Skills

• Strong SQL development experience (complex queries, data processing, performance tuning)

• Solid experience with C# development

• Experience working with large data platforms or market data systems

• Familiarity with production support and incident management

• Ability to work in distributed teams across multiple geographies

• Strong communication and coordination skills
