Pipekit is building the software infrastructure that powers modern data and AI systems. As the primary maintainers of the open-source Argo Workflows project, we advance Kubernetes-native workflow computing - pushing the performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed systems.

We work directly with some of the largest Argo users in the world, supporting mission-critical deployments at organizations like Bloomberg, Intuit, CrowdStrike, and Centrica Energy. The learnings from these relationships drive upstream improvements to the runtime and help us develop our proprietary enterprise control plane.

Help us push the limits of Kubernetes-native infrastructure.

Work directly with enterprise customers running Argo at scale, solving complex production challenges and turning those learnings into meaningful improvements in Argo.

1. Develop deep expertise in Argo Workflows, Argo Events, and Kubernetes — and apply it to help enterprise customers design, debug, and run reliable production systems.
2. Identify recurring patterns across customers and turn them into concrete proposals for improving Argo.
3. Design and implement those improvements in Argo — from focused fixes to substantial new features or architectural changes.
4. Bring insights from real-world deployments into roadmap and design discussions, helping shape where Argo and Pipekit go next.
   

Must haves

1. Strong programming skills in Go or another statically typed language (Java, Rust, C++, etc.)
2. Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes in production environments.
3. Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers and approaching problems with empathy and professionalism.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to haves

1. Prior experience contributing to open source projects.
2. Experience with large-scale workflow systems or distributed job processing.
3. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc).
