For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Senior Snowflake & dbt Data Engineer

Location: remote

Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)

Length: long-term cooperation (first contract till the end of 2026)

Rate: 180-205 PLN/h net

Start date: 13 of April

Working hours: business hours

Remote work: 100% remote with occasional travels to Wroclaw

Role Summary:

Snowflake / dbt Data Engineer will play a key role in building and enhancing the client’s Snowflake platform to support Data and AI use cases.

Focus Areas: ~70% of the role will involve Snowflake, dbt, Python, and general data engineering tasks.

What will you do:

• Design and implement scalable data models, data pipelines, and transformation workflows using dbt and Snowflake, ensuring reliable data delivery for analytics and AI workloads
• Close collaboration with Data Engineers, Architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into high quality data models

What we expect from you:

• Min. 7-8 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering, focused on modern data stack tooling
• Min. 4-6 years of experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake‑specific features
• Ability to write Python scripts for data orchestration and advanced transformations
• Experience building ELT pipelines loading data from Azure Blob Storage into Snowflake
• Proven track record of developing transformation models with dbt to create scalable analytics datasets
• Min. 3-4 years of experience in production dbt Cloud, including expert-level proficiency with: dbt macros, Snapshots, State-handling
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex (nice to have); Understanding of ML lifecycle (training vs inference) and how data structures impact model performance
• Hands-on professional with frequent interaction with business users; capable of leading end‑to‑end development
• Knowledge of English on C1 level
