Job Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer specializing in API testing, who will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests and supporting CI/CD processes.

The role focuses on backend/API quality assurance, with strong involvement in automation, data validation, and collaboration with development teams in a Shift Left Testing approach.

Qualifications

• API test automation experience – minimum 2 years using TypeScript + Playwright (or similar tools).
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, including understanding how pipelines work (not only running builds).
• Advanced SQL skills (MS SQL), beyond basic queries.
• Scripting skills Bash or PowerShell.
• Basic understanding of Angular (to support understanding of data flows).
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong self-organization.
• Ability to use AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to optimize testing processes.
