emagine is looking for a Drone flight operations manager for one of our great clients within the construction industry.

End: 2026-08-31 (extension is possible)

Location: Remote in Sweden

About the assignment:

Responsible for follow up on remote pilots during operations, establish the right operation safety culture for drones at the company, and assist in approving flight operations in new projects.

·       Conduct maintenance and audits of the operations manual.

·       Auditing flight operations on a quarterly basis to ensure that all operations are compliant and make sure that lessons are learnt to avoid future incidents.

·       Assisting pilots in conducting risk assessments in new projects and sites that require drone data.

·       Approving operations in new projects or sites that require drone data.

·       Responsible that all operations are conducted in compliance with local regulations. 

·       Authority to stop the companies UAS operations in case of noncompliance.

·       Follow up on pilots and individual operations.

·       Establish the right safety and flight culture.

Help out with pilot training occasionally. 

Assisting in updating the operations manual

Assist in adding new routines or updated way of work if deemed necessary

Work within the drone organisation as advised by the Product Owner (accountable manager)

Must have
• Have a sound understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to UAS
• Have a deep understanding of drones and flight theory.
• Knowledge of Industry-Specific Applications
• Understand SORA, Risk Management principles, and emergency procedures
• Certified drone pilot with A1/A3-A2 and Specific category
• Have high motivation and being proactive
English and Swedish Language
