Opportunity Overview
You will join an engineering team responsible for building modern cloud data lake / data platform solutions. Tools like Databricks, cloud-native services, and CI/CD pipelines will be your daily drivers.Expect a wide variety of projects, support from exceptional engineers, and a culture of knowledge sharing, openness, and practical growth in your chosen direction.
Your Responsibilities
Building and launching data pipelines and data models in cloud environments (Azure is our main ecosystem).
Close collaboration with clients - gathering requirements, discussing solutions, communicating progress clearly.
Implementing best practices in data engineering: data integrity, quality checks, testing, documentation, and data lineage.
Optimizing existing analytical solutions for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Contributing to cloud architecture design and standards (security, governance, scalability).
Working with CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and production-ready processes (DataOps).
Supporting integrations across BI/ML/DevOps teams.
What We’re Looking For (Mid Level)
2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data engineering-focused role.
1+ year of experience working with cloud platforms - we use Azure, but AWS or GCP experience is also welcome.
2+ years of Python - strong coding skills and confidence in writing clean, production-ready code.
2+ years of SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
Understanding of DWH data modeling and ETL/ELT development.
General awareness of cloud architecture, networking, and security concepts.
Creativity, openness to innovation, and a willingness to grow in dynamic, fast‑evolving projects.
Nice to Have
Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark or PySpark.
Knowledge of Apache Airflow (orchestration).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
