Project
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe professional to support operational planning and scheduling activities in a complex enterprise environment. The project focuses on ensuring the stability, efficiency, and reliability of batch processing workflows managed through CA7 Scheduler. You will be working for one of the leading European financial groups responsible for the registration, ownership records, and financial settlement of securities traded on financial markets in Norway, recently expanded to other European markets.
Expected competences and knowledge
- 6+ years of experience as a Mainframe Operator or similar role
- Proven expertise in CA7 Scheduler (operational planning, job scheduling, monitoring)
- Solid understanding of mainframe environments (z/OS)
- Experience with batch processing, job control, and incident handling
- Ability to analyze and resolve scheduling and job execution issues
- Familiarity with enterprise production support processes
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup under time pressure
- Very good communication skills in English (min. B2+)
