Your responsibilities, Create, execute, and maintain automated test code and test cases to validate software functionality and performance, Work closely with DevOps and development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure rapid and reliable software releases, Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tracking tools, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues, Conduct performance and load testing to ensure applications meet performance benchmarks and can handle expected traffic and usage, Engage actively in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment, to ensure quality is built into the product from the ground up, Provide quality assurance insights and feedback during requirements and design reviews to identify potential issues early and ensure testability, Define and track quality metrics, and generate reports to communicate test progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders
3+ years of proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, Proficiency in BDD (Behavior Driven Development), Strong knowledge of Java SE (minimum version 8), Experience with Maven, JUnit, AssertJ, Selenium, and Cucumber, Familiarity with Jacoco for code coverage, Imaginative and creative, ready to try new things, Able to work on and improve older code bases, as well as apply modern best practices to new projects, Willingness to work with and contribute to teams with different skillsets, Proactive, comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements, Fluency in English with a proficiency level of B2 or higher
Optional, Experience with Azure Cosmos DB SDK, Azure Blob Storage SDK, and GitLab CI/CD

This initiative is focused on enhancing our Client's corporate action ecosystem to streamline workflows, improve data processing, and strengthen communication and reporting.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. This role involves close collaboration with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to define test strategies, implement continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines, and identify defects early in the development lifecycle. You will ensure comprehensive test coverage and promote best practices in quality engineering.
This position offers a flex-hybrid model of work, with 3 days per week working from the office located in Krakow.
