Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a broker platform that offers brokers real-time risk.

Required Skills:

Must-have:

5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

• Kotlin / Java (primary)

• TypeScript / Node.js (secondary)

• REST API design and integration

• Cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP (App Engine / Cloud Run, GCS)

Should-have:

• Experience working with LLM APIs and managing non-deterministic outputs

• ETL / data pipeline expertise

• Ability to process spreadsheets or documents programmatically (e.g., multi-sheet Excel files, inconsistent headers)

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture

Nice-to-have:

• Insurance domain experience (SOVs, TIV, COPE data, property risk)

• Lloyd's market experience
