Short about the role
We are seeking a Senior SAP EWM Consultant to join our SAP Consulting Team. This is an independent position, so we expect excellent self-organization, business consulting mindset, and a proactive approach. Additionally, the SAP Consultant should be adept at navigating the business management environment. In teamwork, they should demonstrate the ability and willingness to share consulting knowledge, quality communication, and resource management.
Role & responsibilities
Working in the SAP Consulting Department as an SAP logistics module consultant, specializing in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
Participating in various projects related to the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems (also internationally)
Leading project meetings, sharing insights, and ensuring smooth and successful project outcomes
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and addressing their unique needs
Leading collaboration with functional consultants, technical teams, and business users to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions
Driving cooperation with the implementation team and project stakeholders across all project phases
Leading business requirements analysis, translating them into functional specifications, and preparing comprehensive documentation
Leading end-user workshops and stakeholder presentations
Providing solution design recommendations and supporting pre-sales activities
Designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP solutions in line with business needs and overall solution architecture
Overseeing testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Identifying improvement opportunities and driving process and system enhancements
Mentoring junior consultants and supporting knowledge sharing across the team
Ensuring high-quality communication between business stakeholders and technical teams
The role is primarily remote; however, it may involve travel to client sites or participation in important industry events, accounting for approx. up to 10-30% of your time
What is expected
A minimum of five years of experience in various SAP projects as an SAP EWM consultant or in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful project implementation
In-depth understanding of core functional end-to-end SAP EWM business processes and integration with other SAP modules or and third-party systems
Strong understanding of warehouse logistics processes and their integration with adjacent supply chain and operational processes
Prior experience in implementing several SAP projects, including the SAP EWM module (preferably having experience of completing at least 2-3 full cycles of implementation as an EWM functional consultant)
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders (with their needs) and technical consultants (ABAP developers)
Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design
Experience in delivering or supporting end-user workshops and business presentations for stakeholders
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a consulting mindset and a business acumen approach
Proficiency in MS Office tools, with advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, slicers, and formulas
A high degree of independence in organizing one's work and collaborating effectively within a team
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
Fluency in English (B2/C1 or above) — with proven ability to work and communicate effectively in an international business environment – MUST HAVE
Active driving license for passenger cars
Nice to have
Fluency in any additional European language such as (Polish, German, French) is a strong asset
Good knowledge of ABAP programming language
Having an SAP EWM certification or other related will be considered a strong asset
