The Adi Practice team is seeking a Business Analyst to help advance Alcon’s digital product experiences and strengthen our relationship with customers, consumers, and sales associates. This team is focused on delivering meaningful, user centered solutions. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborate with the Product Director and Product Manager to understand product strategy and translate it into clear business and functional requirements for the Auto Scheduler.
• Co‑lead requirements‑gathering sessions with Product Manager and act as a subject matter expert (business and technical).
• Engage directly with end users and internal stakeholders that represent end users (e.g., sales, service, clinical applications & regional product owners) as a part of requirements gathering.
• Translate user needs, market insights, and stakeholder input into well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA, planned 3 sprints ahead.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Clinic Connect, Shared Services, HDS, RMDS, Legal, and Compliance.
• Review and provide feedback on test cases and test runs prepared by Test Leads.
• Support early estimation of Epics and Stories with the Product Manager.
• Serve as a day‑to‑day contact for Engineering on requirement clarifications.
• Support the Product Manager in ensuring team deliverables align with product vision and stakeholder expectations.
• Review JIRA ticket demos from Engineering for completeness against requirements.
• Prepare and deliver demos to business stakeholders alongside the Product Director and Product Manager.
• Work closely with the Product Manager to support backlog prioritization and day‑to‑day decision making.
  
  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or product‑related role.
• 2–3 years of experience working on an Agile team.
• Experience working with UX/UI teams and understanding of front-end user experience best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and independently when needed.
• Strong judgment, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
