Job Description
Applications are welcome from internal and external candidates. For all IOM vacancies, applications from qualified and eligible first-tier candidates are considered before those of qualified and eligible second-tier candidates in the selection process. For the purpose of this vacancy, internal candidates are considered first-tier candidates.
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in Poland and the direct supervision of the Data and Research Unit (DRU) Coordinator, the Data Collection and Analysis Assistant will support the implementation of DRU’s ongoing data collection and evidence generation activities, including r egular needs and intentions assessments , thematic-research related assessments and other surveys carried out by the mission. The incumbent will contribute to the collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis of quantitative and qualitative data in line with IOM’s standards for safe, ethical, and effective data collection.
In close coordination with the Senior Data and Reporting Assistant, as well as other relevant units within the mission, the incumbent will play a supporting role for the continuity, accuracy, and operational consistency of field data flows and support the delivery of high-quality information products that enable evidence based programming and reporting.
