Senior GoLang Engineer (with AWS)

Our Client is a global leader in high-resolution aerial imagery and geospatial intelligence, transforming how industries make critical decisions through real-time data. You will join a team working on a platform that processes petabytes of imagery and powers advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) models to deliver insights to customers worldwide. We are looking for an experienced professional for the position of Senior GoLang Engineer, who will lead the design and implementation of scalable API (Application Programming Interface) projects within our brand-new engineering hub in Warsaw.

WORK MODE: Warsaw – hybrid (2–3 days per week in the office)

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Champion the evolution of a geospatial data platform, focusing on distributed imagery storage, AI data pipelines, and the optimization of content delivery.

• Lead a team of developers in designing and delivering high-quality software solutions that solve real-world problems through high-throughput APIs.

• Ensure sub-second latency and high performance across all customer-facing services by maintaining high standards of technical excellence.

• Collaborate closely with the Product team to analyze requirements and make informed trade-offs between delivery timelines and technical constraints.

• Mentor and coach individual team members to help them maximize their potential and improve the overall competency of the development team.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

Must-have:

• Extensive experience in leading backend engineering teams and delivering production-grade, scalable APIs and platform services in a cloud environment.

• Strong technical expertise in backend technologies, specifically Go (Golang) and/or C# (C Sharp), with a solid grasp of software architecture and design patterns.

• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, including Microservices, Containers, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Proficiency in modern CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines, observability tooling, and building distributed data-access systems.

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across different time zones and collaborate with international teams.

Nice-to-have:

• Professional experience working with distributed storage systems or high-scale content delivery networks.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
