Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Generative AI Engineer to design, develop, and operationalize cutting-edge Generative AI solutions for healthcare and life sciences platforms. This role combines hands-on model development, prompt engineering, pipeline architecture, MLOps, and business-facing solution design.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), GenAI frameworks, and enterprise AI deployment, along with experience translating real-world healthcare and life sciences problems into scalable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI Model Development

• Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate Generative AI models including LLMs and multimodal models
• Develop and optimize prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based pipelines
• Work with open-source and commercial LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LLaMA, Mistral, and Hugging Face
• Implement hallucination mitigation, safety guardrails, and responsible AI mechanisms
• Build scalable and production-ready GenAI systems
  
  

Solution Design & Business Enablement

• Collaborate with business, product, and consulting teams to identify GenAI opportunities
• Translate business problems into scalable AI architectures and technical solutions
• Develop POCs, prototypes, and solution blueprints
• Define success metrics, ROI, scalability, and feasibility of GenAI initiatives
  
  

Data Engineering, MLOps & Deployment

• Design and manage data pipelines for GenAI training, fine-tuning, and inference
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize GenAI models in production environments
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and model monitoring systems
• Optimize model performance, latency, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering teams on cloud deployment and scaling
  
  

Governance & Responsible AI

• Implement explainability, auditability, and traceability mechanisms
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and governance requirements
• Define and enforce responsible AI standards and best practices
  
  

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid work permit for Poland
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
• 5-9 years of experience in AI, ML engineering, or data science
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI
• Must have Life Sciences or Healthcare industry experience, including one or more of:
• Pharmaceutical
• MedTech
• Hospitals or Clinics
• Healthcare Insurance
• Consumer Healthcare
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Transformers, embeddings, and vector databases
• GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Hugging Face
• Fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA, PEFT, and instruction tuning
• Python programming
• Experience with cloud platforms:
• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with containerization tools:
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with MLOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong expertise in RAG pipelines, GenAI agents, and multimodal AI
• Experience deploying enterprise-scale GenAI solutions
• Experience in healthcare AI, clinical AI, or pharmaceutical AI use cases
• Experience working in consulting or enterprise product environments
• Strong understanding of responsible AI, governance, and compliance
