Your responsibilities, Lead one of the Data Modernization Teams to develop a cloud-based analytical data platform that meets BEC's security standards and aligns with member banks' strategic goals., Drive the development within Data Modernization Program, delivering product vision, i.e. enable customers to accessing well modelled, compliant data products on the new data platform in timely manner., Communicate and collaborate with other leads, development teams and development managers, Identify and implement opportunities to continuously improve BECâs development capabilities, Work closely and communicate proactively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, Oversee the management and development of Data Modernization Programâs team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, Ensure delivery of the team backlog, balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operational needs, Working closely with Architecture, Product Manager and both internal and external stakeholders, as well as the Program Lead, You will report directly to the Head of Data Modernization Program
A higher educational background (preferably within IT), Strong leadership capabilities and prior experience as a manager, Ability to drive implementation and realize business value, Familiarity with newer technologies like AI and cloud, Ability to communicate technical matters in a clear and straightforward manner, Self-motivated and structured working approach, A strong desire to improve the teamâs ability to deliver as planned, Experience in database technologies, Experience in software development, You have analytical mind, can see the big picture without overlooking important details, Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for working in teams in Denmark and Poland
Optional, Experience from a similar position working with banking and regulatory compliance is a plus., Experience from scrum/agile organization, Experience as data engineer, cloud engineer or software engineer, Experience as product owner, Experience in managing cloud services, specifically with Microsoft Azure, and experience with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework.

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland and you will join Databricks Platform Development team in Data Modernization program. The team is in charge of establishing analytical data platform based on databricks.
The role as Development Manager in Databricks Platform Development team offers an opportunity to lead a team that is core of BECâs data platform transformation journey. Together with the team, you will take us to the next steps of maturing databricks-based data lakehouse, supporting best practices, cloud adoption and transitioning into data products driven approach.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to four days per month.
Your direct manager will be MichaĹ Zientak.
