Your responsibilities, Gathering, analysing and assessing business needs related to the subject, Translating business requirements and needs into optimal technical designs and solutions, Implementing technical solutions in the area of expertise, Proposing and implementing improvements related with the subject, Maintaining up to date solution documentation including technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, knowledge base articles etc., If applicable, managing solution through the complete service/software development lifecycle

Minimum 8 IT relevant professional experience, Minimum 3 project experience relevant to the profile or at similar position, EU SECRET security clearance is required, or the candidate must be able to demonstrate that the clearance application process is already underway, Excellent knowledge of the subject at the design/architecture/implementation level, Good understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability, Knowledge of IT security standards, Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle and software development lifecycle, Very strong sense of responsibility, Accuracy and attention to details, Open minded, excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills, Very good organizational skills, Very good communication skills, Supportive and helpful personality with co-operative and service oriented attitude, Ability to work in stressful environment with minimal supervision, Forward looking with a holistic approach, High level of motivation and initiative

Optional, Sound knowledge of EU Regulatory acts, Sound knowledge of the EU cybersecurity framework, Knowledge of Frontex's tasks and mission, basic structure and its legal legal basis, Knowledge of EU initiatives related to security and border management (e.g. Copernicus, Galileo, et cetera)
