Your responsibilities, Within our Database Administration team at Kyndryl, you'll be a master of managing and administering the backbone of our technological infrastructure. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others., , Required Technical and Professional Expertise, •10+ years of hands-on experience as a DB2 System Programmer (Sysprog) & DB2 for z/OS Database Administrator (DBA), •Experience with installation, maintenance, upgrades of PTFs for DB2 subsystems on z/OS, •Proficiency in SMP/E for managing DB2 software maintenance and APAR implementation, •In-depth knowledge of DB2 object management, including creation and maintenance of databases, tablespaces, tables, indexes, views, and packages, •Skilled in SQL performance tuning, access path analysis, and use of performance tools (e.g. like BMC Apptune or using PLAN_TABLEs), •Experience with DB2 system and application performance monitoring using tools such as Omegamon, Mainview,or DB2PM, •Familiarity with data sharing architecture, Sysplex, and Coupling Facility for DB2 in a parallel sysplex environment, •Strong experience with backup and recovery procedures, including RECOVER, COPY, QUIESCE, and disaster recovery planning, •Proficient in REORG, RUNSTATS, LOAD, UNLOAD, and other DB2 utility management for performance and maintenance, •Experience with buffer pool tuning, lock contention resolution, and thread analysis, •Working knowledge of DB2 security administration, RACF integration, and auditing, •Ability to perform problem determination and root cause analysis using dumps, logs, and system traces, knowledge of IBM Case process, •Skilled in writing and interpreting JCL, REXX, and automation scripts for DB2-related operations, •Strong English communication skills and ability to coordinate across infrastructure, operations, and development teams, , Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise, •Italian language
