Role: Application Engineer (intermediate backend developer)

Job location: hybrid (Warsaw, Cracow, Gdansk, Wroclaw)

The successful candidate will work within Analytics practice and be responsible for Java development and enhancements and support of existing solution. The work will be delivered for a strategic multinational customer from logistics sector and will focus on large scale archiving solution.

Responsibilities will include involvement in delivery of last level support for incident and problem resolution, implementation of fixes, development and release of approved changes based on customer requirements and needs.

Key Responsibilities

Core Java & Backend Development

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and backend development
• Experience with Spring Framework (preferably Spring Boot)
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on Apache Tomcat or similar application servers
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with XML processing and data integration
  
  

Cloud & Containerization

• Practical experience with Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Understanding of cloud-native application design principles
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
  
  

Development Practices & Tools

• Experience using Git for version control
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience working with SQL databases
  
  

Communication & Collaboration

• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an engineering team
