MS Full Stack Developer / Application Engineer

Location: Wrocław - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

We are currently seeking highly motivated people to work as Application Engineer/ developer for one of our internal Enterprise Technology portfolios. As a member of the team:

• You will have opportunity to work as a developer for certain applications in the portfolio with ownership to technology readiness

• The role requires technical knowledge in key technologies to independently manage the technical delivery of projects – design/ build/ implement
  
  

Your Key Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality solution in accordance with project timelines and specifications, using sound coding and programming skills
• Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process contributing to moderately complex aspects of a project, with ownership
• Maintains and enhances systems by fixing complicated errors, raising risks and escalating issues where necessary
• Works with users to capture detailed requirements, translating designs and solution architecture into design specifications
• Monitors and reports on potential risks/opportunities of emerging technologies, and seeks areas for continuous improvement
• Ensures all activities adhere to the relevant processes, procedures, standards and technical design
• Develop and promote best practices for usage, operations and development
• Strong analytical and communication skills with intense drive to learn and adopt
• Collaborating with vendor applications/ teams to integrate them into EY
  
  

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Good interpersonal, communication and team skills required to operate as a contributing member of global technical teams that deliver quality services
• Self-motivated to contribute with your own ideas - showcase the feasibility and benefits
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the fields of Computer Science or other related discipline
• Microsoft Full Stack Developer
  
  

Should have expertise with 3+ years of experience in most of the below mentioned skills:

• Experience in Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using .NET languages (C#, VB.NET) and technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core)
• Creating user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like Angular or React to deliver a responsive and engaging user experience
• Developing and consuming web services, such as RESTful APIs, to facilitate communication between the client-side and server-side components
• Implementing data storage solutions using databases like SQL Server and writing efficient data access code with Entity Framework or ADO.NET
• Solid understanding of design patterns and database normalization
• Experience in SQL Stored procedures, Functions, views etc
• Experienced with Azure DevOps or TFS source control management
• Ensuring application performance, scalability, and security through best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services platform and Architecture in development
• Knowledge about secure data and File transfer Protocols such as SFTP, Encryption Mechanism etc,
• Proven experience with extract, transform, and load (ETL) processing and SQL Server tools such as SSIS
• Experience in any of the reporting Tools such as SSRS or Power BI
• Understanding, Implementing Custom Interfaces and troubleshooting the Vendor software implementations
• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
