📝 Opis główny / Wstęp
Fictionlab is a team of unique engineers who love technology and have extensive experience in mobile robotics and real-world use cases. We are a group of people who work together to build robotics platforms, from the concept to the real deployment.
We focus on mobile robotics designed for special-purpose missions. We develop our own products and provide engineering services, including customization of our platforms and designing robotic systems from the ground up. Our flagship solutions, Leo Rover and Raph Rover, are robust and modular platforms used in R&D across the space sector, defense, technical inspections, monitoring, and precision agriculture.
If you want to be a part of our team and have a real influence on our rovers, as well as contribute to the development of real industrial applications, then you are in the right place. Do not wait to apply!
IF YOU ARE
- Experienced with ROS 2
- Skilled in C++, Python, and Linux
- Equipped with analytical skills, a mathematical background, and basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Experienced in software architecture and design
- Accustomed to software engineering tools such as Git, CMake, Make, GDB, CI/CD pipelines
- Experienced with hardware integration and have basic understanding of communication protocols such as UART, CAN, SPI, I2C or RS485
- Basic understanding of PID controllers, skid-steering and ackermann kinematic models, Kalman filters, transformation matrices.
- Strong in communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in english (written and verbal)
AND YOU WANT TO
- Contribute to open-source projects in the ROS ecosystem.
- Design and develop solutions for mobile robotic platforms, industrial applications and robotics research
- Develop software packages for integrating hardware and software for robotic applications,
- Have the opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge components and the latest robotics hardware.
- Contribute to open-source projects in the ROS ecosystem.
TOGETHER WE WILL
- Develop robotics know-how and master the full stack of mobile robotics, from low-level firmware and kinematics to high-level navigation and autonomy.
- Attend global robotics events
- Contribute to robotics research and industrial applications. Collaborate with R&D institutions in the space, defense, and agricultural sectors to solve "unsolved" problems.
- See your code in action and experience the immediate feedback loop of deploying software onto real hardware like the Leo and Raph Rovers or other custom platforms.
- Work in a flat, engineer-led structure where your architectural decisions directly impact the final product.
- Stay Active: Multisport card
