We are hiring a Frontend Salesforce Engineer to join the Corporate Technology team. This is a high visibility position working for the Business Development team, and with our Data and Product teams. The role focuses on building best-in-class UI experiences tightly integrated with Salesforce — delivering a world-class recruiting platform, and modern external UIs that surface CI data and workflows.

This is not exclusively LWC work: you will author and maintain Apex (server-side logic), work with external React frontends using ag-grid and embedded analytics tools including Sigma Computing, and deliver complete end-to-end solutions across internal and external surfaces.

We are moving this engineering function to a Claude-first development model, and the right candidate will be instrumental in establishing how that works in practice. Candidates with AI tooling experience will be prioritised, and we will invest in this as a core competency of the team.

What you'll own

• Lightning Web Components & broader Salesforce UI — Design, develop and maintain production LWC components and pages with emphasis on performance, accessibility and design fidelity. Author Apex controllers, services, and asynchronous jobs to support UI interactions and backend workflows; maintain test coverage and deployment readiness. Support legacy Salesforce UI patterns (Visualforce, Aura) where needed.

• Frontend engineering & UX delivery — Translate Figma prototypes into pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces using TypeScript/React, ag-grid for data-intensive views, CSS frameworks such as Tailwind, and Storybook for component libraries. Build reusable component libraries and design tokens to ensure consistent UX across Salesforce and external apps.

• Embedded analytics & Sigma integration — Implement and maintain Sigma Computing embeds within Salesforce and external React surfaces, working with the data team to surface CI workflows and reporting.

• Salesforce integrations & APIs — Integrate LWCs and external frontends with Salesforce via Apex, REST APIs, platform events and bulk/data sync patterns. Implement efficient data fetching, caching and governor-friendly patterns.

• External React frontends & hybrid UI architectures — Build and maintain external React/TypeScript frontends that authenticate to and synchronise with Salesforce (OAuth/SAML, JWT, named credentials). Orchestrate hybrid architectures combining LWC for internal workflows and external React apps as appropriate.

• AI-first development — Use Claude Code as a primary development tool across LWC, Apex, and React work. Contribute to establishing patterns and guardrails for AI-assisted Salesforce development within the team, including where human review is essential (security model, governor limits, deployment). Candidates with experience extending AI coding frameworks or working with agentic development tools will be given priority.

• Security, deployment & observability — Apply Salesforce security best practices (sharing model, FLS, CSP) and own CI/CD and metadata deployment workflows (SFDX, CI pipelines).

• Cross-functional collaboration — Work closely with product managers, designers, and data engineers to convert requirements into technical solutions. Mentor engineers on LWC, Apex, accessibility and testing strategies.

Required qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex (controllers, triggers, batch/queueable, test classes) and Lightning Web Components.

• 3+ years building frontend applications with React/TypeScript, with strong HTML/CSS skills.

• Solid understanding of Salesforce's security and sharing model — OWD, sharing rules, field-level security — and the ability to review AI-generated code critically for gaps in this area.

• Demonstrated experience translating Figma designs into production UI and building component libraries.

• Experience with Salesforce deployment and change management (SFDX, metadata deployments, sandbox strategies).

• Familiarity with authentication patterns (OAuth, SAML, JWT) and integrating external apps with Salesforce.

• Strong communicator with proven ability to partner with design, product, and engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with ag-grid for data-intensive frontend views.

• Experience embedding or integrating Sigma Computing within Salesforce or React contexts.

• Python skills — advantageous for scripting, data tooling, and working alongside data engineering pipelines.

• Backend experience with NodeJS or equivalent API work consumed by UI teams.

• Prior experience using Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar AI coding tools in a professional context.

• Prior work in Finance Technology or experience building data-rich enterprise workflows.

• Experience with performance optimisation tools, visual regression testing, and frontend observability.
