This role is a lead data platform engineer position working for Airbnb via Altimetrik Poland. You will design, build, and operate high-reliability data pipelines using Apache Airflow and ETL best practices, write Python code for data processing and tooling, and lead incident management and operational excellence. The role requires availability 2-3 times per week until 9pm for meetings with the US team. It is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for CI/CD, observability, and automation.

- •Design and build high-reliability data pipelines using Apache Airflow and ETL best practices
- •Implement and maintain data pipelines with clean, maintainable Python code
- •Lead incident management, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and driving corrective actions
- •Improve operational excellence through automation, runbooks, and reliability reviews
- •Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and platform services
- •Maintain observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana) including metrics and health checks
